INDEPENDENCE – Remember to be a part of the Buchanan County Learn Gardeners for their yearly community gardening symposium on Saturday, February 25, 2023. The symposium will get position from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Independence. Our yearly symposium is a dazzling location to yard fanatics and anyone who is missing the spring and warm climate! Value for this occasion is $30 if registration is been given prior to Tuesday, Feb. 14 and $35 thereafter registration contains mild breakfast products and lunch.
The working day is composed of four main speakers, an assortment of vendor browsing with returning favorites and fascinating new vendors, breakout classes, doorway prizes, and silent auction purchasing for our visitors to appreciate. The most important speakers for 2023 are: Alex Hoffman presenting Effect of Local weather Improve on Trees, Keith Kovarik presenting Landscaping – Smaller Regions, Solar/Shade, Use of Lawn Art, Justin Myers presenting Pruning Perennial Shrubs and Crops and Josh Spece presenting Succulents What is New and How to Incorporate them into the Back garden and Containers. Our two breakout session subject areas will be: Suggestions on Setting up Greens for your Back garden, and Southern and Black Ethnic Gardening.
